the doctor is out

i had planned a nice long post today, chock full of cynical wit, sadness - even a Jim Carroll quote thrown in for good measure. had it most of the way written - just waiting to top it off tonight after a coupla shots of bushmills and a teary toast to an amazing writer.

but then i saw this and realized that no words could possibly do the man justice.
